WE'RE HIRING

*We are open to one candidate who has the skill set for both of these jobs.

Technical Designer/CAD Drafter

As a Technical Designer/CAD Drafter, you will play a key role in our design & engineering process. You will be responsible for producing precise CAD drawings for all our projects...from simple credenzas to 40 person board-room tables. You'll interact closely with the team at Sandtown and our customers. This position primarily requires technical design skills....but the right candidate will also have a willingness & ability to get hands-on with installs, fabrication, etc. We'l hopefully bring CNC fabrication in-house in the next year, and the CAD Drafter would play an integral role in that initiative.

Technical Qualifications: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. 2-10+ years experience designing/engineering furniture, millwork, cabinetry, etc.

Soft Skills: Humble & hungry, with a great, positive attitude. Great team player!

Compensation: Commensurate with experience. Full health care coverage (medical/dental/vision). Paid time off.

Career Path: Advancement to CNC operation as we bring that equipment in house. Opportunities to advance as a fabricator as well.

Hours: 830-5pm, 40 hr/week, Monday through Friday.

*Relocation benefits available for out-of-town applicants.

Lead Welder / Metal Fabricator

Our Lead Welder/Metal Fabricator will run Sandtown Metalworks - our in-house metal shop.

Much of our work these days is a combination of wood & steel - often wood tabletops & steel table bases. Our Lead Welder/Metal Fabricator will be consulted on design/engineering and will fabricate our metalwork to project specifications, ensuring accuracy, structural integrity & beauty.

We are a small shop with a versatile team, so expect to help out & learn on non-metal working projects as well.

Technical Qualifications: 5+ years experience as a metalworker / welder. Ability to read & build from blueprints & CAD drawings.

Soft Skills: Humble & hungry, and a great teammate!

Compensation: Commensurate with experience. Full health care coverage (medical/dental/vision). Paid time off.

Career Path: Advancement in metalworking, woodworking and managing an individual/team.

Hours: 830-5pm, Monday through Friday.

*Relocation benefits available for out-of-town applicants.
